Artist's Description
These pink and purple flowers of the Tree Cholla seem to look on without noticing the beautiful Pinaleño mountains in the background. The photograph was taken just a few miles south of Safford in southern Arizona. This scene was the inspiration for my original poem "While The Flowers Look On."
