The fine art piece "Picasso's Checkers" by artist Robert C. Harris received a 2nd Place award at the San Padro River Arts Council 2023 "Celebrate the Arts" show in Benson. This the third award for this fascinating work which depicts an irregular checkerboard and game pieces that appear to float above a flat surface. Picasso's Checkers previously two 1st Place awards at exhibitions in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Willcox Art League has selected Robert C. Harris, Glenn Weeks, Clement Scott and Lou Anne Nelson as the judges for its upcoming art show. This the 38th Annual Ann Boyd Wade Fine Art & Photography Show. It will be held at the Willcox Community Center, 312 W. Stewart, Willcox. AZ from April 26 through April 30, 2022.

The photograph Martin Bridge II by Fine Art Photographer Robert Harris recently received three awards in an online photography contest. The awards were: "Judge Favorite" "Hidden Gem Award" and "Top Shot Award 2021". The photograph shown here is just one of several views of the Martin Covered Bridge in his collection.

The recent Grand Opening of the new Stronghold Art Gallery was wildly successful for many artists. Among those was Fine Art Photographer Robert C. Harris, who sold 8 pieces including "Abandoned Homestead". When asked about his art Mr. Harris said "My focus is to capture beautiful scenes that go unnoticed by people as they drive by them everyday. I also want to show God's handiworks that are found throughout this country." Congratulations to Mr. Harris and all of the other artist who display their work at the Stronghold Art Gallery.

Fine Art Photographer Robert Harris of Lion's Gate Photography has received back-to-back 2nd Place (Advance Pro) awards at the Tombstone Association of the Arts Annual Open Show for Arts and the San Pedro River Arts Council Annual Photography Competition. Canyon Sunset received the nod in the Tombstone show and Golden Stillness was selected in the SPRAC contest. Congratulations to Mr. Harris who owns Lion's Gate Photography.
