Artist's Description
I photographed this scene just off US190 N and south of the town of Safford, Arizona. These pink and purple flowers of the Tree Cholla seem to look on without noticing the beautiful Pinaleño mountains in the background. It was the inspiration for my poem "While The Flowers Look On", which has now been copyrighted (TXu 2-360-273). This art piece recently placed 3rd at a juried competition in Arizona.
