Artist's Description

Considered to be the "most photographed" lighthouse, this 41-foot conical tower sits on the summit of Cape Neddick Bubble, a small offshore rocky islet, looking proudly over the Atlantic. The morning this shot was taken the temperature was 46 degrees and the wind was blowing in from the ocean. Several tourist buses were also there and I had to go out on the rocks to keep people out of the shot. Most of them were severely underdressed for the wind and temperature. When they realized that I was not part of their group and actually a working photographer they gave room to move around with my cameras.
