Artist's Description

This tree stands alone in the flood plain of Whitewater Draw. It is very unusual to have a glass like surface on the water in the middle of the afternoon. I had originally planned to take the photo from ground level but elected to shoot from an elevated observation deck. That decision resulted in a proportional reflection of the tree and other small shrubs in the water.
