The majority of my photography trips around the United States are solo excursions. As a result, my poetry offers a sense of loneliness and adventure. I travel to out-of-the-way places that provide a peaceful feeling and yet are wonderful photography opportunities. That is the case with "Wonder". I happened upon this beautiful autumn scene and noticed the footbridge at the far end of this small lake. I wandered along the path, noticing the footprints in the dust and my mind leaped forward to a possible meeting with whomever had left those prints.
