This view of the North Pier Light and frozen Lake Superior was taken at about 2:00 PM. The temperature was 30 degrees F with a wind of 15 mpg. This provided a wind chill of 19 degrees F. Needless to say, there was not a lot of need for the lighthouse that evening or for several evenings thereafter. This lighthouse is currently available for purchase from the United States Government.
